·         Name one strength of the images previewed.

Entertainment – On the entertainment image the use of colour is effective. Changing it from colour to black and white makes it look good and it looks appealing.   Sports – On the sports image adding in pictures makes the image look a lot better. It adds creativity to it and it will give a better understanding of what the image is about. It also makes it less plain looking.   Parks and Leisure – On this page the use of bright colours looks very good. It makes the image look very attractive and very relaxed. It gives you a leisure image and would interest you in it.

·         Name one Weakness of the images previewed.

Entertainment – On this image a weakness is the text used in it. The weak part of the text is the colour because it’s too dark to blend in with the background. It’s still readable but it would look better if the colour of the text was brightened up.   Sports – A weakness on this image is that the background is quite plain. Filter would make it look better.   Parks and Leisure – On this image a weak part is the lack of images at the top of it. There is plenty on the bottom but there is none at the top.

  

·         Comment on the Quality of graphics

Entertainment – The use of graphics is quality. The black and white dancer fits in perfectly with the entertainment part of the image. The background has good quality because you can notice that it’s a bar and the filter lifts it.   Sports – The background image looks well because it’s a close up view of a pool table. The other pictures are a creative way of putting in text but they could possibly blend in a bit better.   Parks and Leisure – The graphics on this image look very good. The background gives it scenery that makes it feel like parks and leisure. The other graphics are relevant to the topic and they show good quality because you can see what’s happening in the images and they show relevance to parks and leisure.

   

·         Are the images suitable for purpose. (e.g used for the tourism booklet)

Entertainment – The image suits the entertainment purpose because with having the man in it dancing it hints the entertainment factor. The text also makes it very suitable.   Sports – The image suits the sports purpose because the background is someone playing pool which for a start gives it away that it’s about sport. The added in image also makes it more suitable.   Parks and Leisure – The image suits this purpose because the title says leisure which gives it away. The blue background is also relevant which makes it suitable and the images put in are relevant to parks and leisure.

   

·         What do you think of the use of Typography or Imagery used.

Entertainment – The text in this image has a size that suits it. The colour isn’t the greatest though because it has a darkish background and the text is quite dark making it not stand out very well. Changing the font would make it look more creative. The use of imagery is good though because the man fits in well with it.   Sports – The title text was put into this image in a creative way with the text being part of another picture but it fits in well. The background of the image with the text could maybe blend in a bit better with the pool table.   Parks and Leisure – I think the typography in this image looks great because it is using bright blue colours that fit into the scenery of the image. It is readable as is stands out but it blends in well. The use of imagery is also perfect because the images suit the topic of leisure and they blend in with the background because of the bright colours.
